global superstar Lewis Capaldi shares the official music video for his latest single ‘Stay Love’, a special addition found on the recent deluxe edition of his Survive EP. The deeply touching visual chronicles a day in the life of a young man providing around-the-clock care for his aging father.

The video arrives alongside news that Lewis will be throwing a special show for primary caregivers and a guest, in July. The free concert will take place at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on July 28th, in partnership with UK charity Carers Trust, who work to transform the lives of unpaid carers across the UK, and disabled awareness charity ABLE2UK, which provides exclusive experiences for disabled people.

For the exclusive event, and in a first of its kind, the London venue will be made fully accessible to not only meet the needs of the night’s guests, but also ensure that they are given priority. UK census data indicates that roughly 5.8 million informal carers in the country deliver essential assistance to relatives, friends, or neighbours facing illness, disability, or age-related decline. People who devote hours to supporting vulnerable people do not do it for financial gain - they do it because they care and they need far more recognition and support.

Leo Visconti, Executive Director of Income Generation and Engagement at Carers Trust, said:

“Every day, millions of carers across the UK provide essential support to people who cannot manage on their own. Far too many carers go without recognition or support, despite doing this while balancing work, education, and their own wellbeing. That’s why we’re incredibly pleased to partner with Lewis Capaldi and ABLE2UK to create greater visibility for carers and offer them this chance to come together for a night of fun, music, and community. The ‘Stay Love’ video is a moving exploration of what caring can look like day to day, from the quiet dedication, loneliness, and challenges, to the moments of joy that keep carers and those they look after going. We hope this video will spark much needed conversations, greater understanding of carers’ experiences, and reassure the many carers out there that they are not alone."

ABLE2UK CEO and Founder Howard Thorpe, said: “It is an honour to mark the charity’s 25th anniversary with a special concert headlined by Lewis. The ‘Stay Love’ video highlights the hidden work carers do for loved ones with physical and learning challenges. I believe I am right in saying how lost disabled people would be without the affection and time their friends and family devote to them - I have firsthand experience of this myself. Speaking as someone with cerebral palsy, in my perspective, disabled awareness is pretty high across the UK. But for a percentage of disabled people commended for defying the odds, there is an individual behind them who is their rock and, in most circumstances, their best friend who goes unnoticed. This anniversary concert is our way of saying thank you to the people we would be lost without.”

Directed by Sam Nutt and Jack Lightfoot, the “Stay Love” video gives new meaning to Capaldi’s piano-led plea for companionship. The clip begins in a quiet suburban home, where our subject steadies himself for the day. He soon wakes his father, helps him get dressed, and reads him the news. A woman comes to take the older man out, but his son’s work isn’t done. There’s laundry to do, groceries to buy, bills to pay. Along the way, he sees signs of the life he has put on hold, but when his father returns, they find moments of levity and sweetness together. Then, it starts over again.

Produced by The Monsters & Strangerz and Michael Pollack, “Stay Love” finds Capaldi at his most vulnerable, pairing his rich voice with a stripped arrangement that allows every lyric to resonate: “Oh just stay, love, when everybody’s leaving / C’mon stay, love, to get me through the evening / You know I pray, love, that you'll always be the one / And when the road gets rough, don’t give up on us, and this could stay love.” Infused with hope, the track leans into the quiet intensity that has become a hallmark of Capaldi’s artistry, delivering a performance that underscores both fragility and resolve.

The song only deepens the emotional arc Capaldi traces across Survive. The original November release included four fan favorites: the anthemic and autobiographical “Survive,” the soul-searching “Something In The Heavens,” post-breakup standout “Almost,” and the utterly devastating “The Day That I Die,” each exploring different shades of loss, endurance, progress, and promise. Upon the EP’s release, Billboard wrote, “Lewis Capaldi is very much back. Surviving, thriving.”

Indeed, Capaldi recently wrapped his sold-out, most ambitious North American headline tour to date with performances including the Hollywood Bowl following — among other massive shows — back-to-back dates at Colorado’s storied Red Rocks Amphitheatre and his acclaimed Madison Square Garden debut. Ahead of the latter, his biggest U.S. headliner yet, Capaldi gave a free pop-up performance from a flower shop inside of Penn Station, where he debuted “Stay Love.” The crowd swelled to well over 5,000 fans, turning the New York City landmark into a cavernous music hall.

The Survive EP has already proven to be a defining chapter in Capaldi’s career, bagging a monumental sixth number 1 single with his comeback title track, joining esteemed company with the likes of Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga & Queen to achieve six UK number 1 singles, beating David Bowie, Katy Perry, The Police & more, as well as 10 Top 10 UK singles.

Lewis performed ‘Survive’ as part of his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge as well as an iconic sofa and performance appearance on The Graham Norton Show alongside Taylor Swift, where he once again charmed audiences with his trademark wit & heartbreaking songwriting. He also turned in special US performances of the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & Good Morning America.

Next month, Lewis will then take on his biggest ever UK & Irish headline shows this summer, with more being added due to phenomenal demand. Twelve huge outdoor headline shows will include two at London’s 65,000 capacity American Express presents BST Hyde Park on July 11th & 12th, with Capaldi fast approaching one million tickets sold globally this year alone.
