Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Set to Release 20th Anniversary Deluxe Box Set Of Their Seminal Album ‘Howl’ on January 30th 2026

JANE WEAVER’S ‘THE FALLEN BY WATCH BIRD’ REVISITED ON 15th ANNIVERSARY & UK 2026 SPRING TOUR

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Set to Release 20th Anniversary Deluxe Box Set Of Their Seminal Album ‘Howl’ on January 30th 2026

Band Tour UK & Europe Through November & December 2025

Originally released in 2005, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s 3rd album, ‘Howl’ was an unexpected curveball from the band’s previous releases. Gone was the guitar-driven, reverb-and-white noise that characterised their sound and saw them embracing folk, blues and gospel-inspired songs. Now it is due to be re-released on January 30th 2026 via PIAS.

It will be available as a Deluxe Box set, a 2x vinyl LP set, and a single CD, and is available to pre-order HERE now. Listen/stream HERE.

At the time it reached No 7 in Q Magazine’s ‘Highest Rated Albums Of 2005, as well as receiving positive reviews from the world’s press.

NME said “Steeped in country, folk and gospel, ‘Howl’ is a primitive cry from the heart of a distant Americana… (the album) finds them both experimental (an autoharp, piano, trombone and timpani all feature alongside the usual guitar and harmonica) and reflective (“I’ve seen the battle and I’ve seen the war/ And the life I have here is the life I’ve been sold” – ‘Devil’s Waitin’’);

The Guardian noted that “The songwriting and performances (on Howl) are consistently gripping”

Spin thought that “Bruce Springsteen stripped down his songs to reflect his pessimistic journey through the badlands; BRMC’s scaled-back sound is reflective of a group that’s come out on the other side of that trip and doesn’t want to hide behind feedback any longer”
