Manchester’s iconic event Haçienda Classical will hit a landmark tenth anniversary of groundbreaking performances at Castlefield Bowl on Saturday 4th July 2026, celebrating a decade of iconic genre-defining tracks.

Holding the record for the most performances ever staged at Manchester’s historic Castlefield Bowl, Haçienda Classical has delivered nine phenomenal sell-out shows, firmly cementing its place as a staple in the city’s music calendar. Its tenth record-breaking year is now shaping up to be the most ambitious yet.

For this unmissable celebration, they have just announced a rare reunion of the original singers and voices of house, all together on one stage for one night only to celebrate the songs that defined a generation.

This lineup features Ultra Naté, Barbera Tucker, CeCe Rogers and Julie McKnight, who will be backed by the powerhouse of the Manchester Camerata Orchestra. Joining them is Graeme Park, the AMC Gospel Choir, and Haçienda Classical regular vocalists Melanie Williams, Yvonne Shelton and Rae Hall.

The celebrations continue as The Haçienda are pulling out all the stops with some surprise guest appearances in addition to its legendary lineup of singers.

Fitting to its roots, the event will also feature the original main Haçienda residents Mike Pickering and Graeme Park performing a rare set together, alongside DJ sets from Tom Wainwright and Peter Hook.

When asked about this 10-year anniversary, Manchester legend Peter Hook has said:‘To have 9 sellout Concerts and going into our 10th year at Castlefield Bowl is the greatest compliment from the people of Manchester to Rob Gretton, Tony Wilson and the members of New Order that made it possible. When the Haçienda was opened for the people in 1982, the fact that we are still celebrating what it brought to Manchester and those people that helped us build it is incredible. Thank you all and here’s to many, many more!’

Haçienda’s resident DJ Graeme Park says: ‘2026 is the 10th anniversary of what was supposed to be a one-off show. Haçienda Classical returns next year with a new show that features some very special guests and I am beyond excited to continue to share the joy of what continues to be a thrilling journey guaranteed to make you smile.’

Fletch, Haçienda’s manager adds: ‘The Haçienda Classical shows at Castlefield Bowl are always special, and celebrating 10 years is a huge milestone for us. We’re pulling out all the stops to make this one extra special!’

Don't miss your chance to be part of this legendary celebration with rare performances and a collaboration like no other! Tickets are on sale now.

More information about Haçienda Classical:

An iconic musical project, Haçienda Classical fuses the spirit of the legendary Haçienda with the timeless sounds of classic dance tracks. Resident DJ Graeme Park carefully curates a selection of iconic anthems from the late 1980s and early 1990s, which are then reimagined with orchestral arrangements by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra.

Having sold out multiple shows at prestigious venues like the Royal Albert Hall and the Warehouse Project, as well as headlining major festivals including Isle of Wight, Kendal Calling, and even opening Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage in 2017, Hacienda Classical has captivated audiences worldwide.

The show's unique blend of classic dance tracks and orchestral arrangements has garnered rave reviews from critics and fans alike. NME hailed it as "Probably the best rave since 1997," while Mixmag described it as "A near two-hour blend of house music’s greatest players with an audience dancing and singing from the off."

Hacienda Classical continues to evolve, solidifying its place as a must-see event for music lovers everywhere. It brings together diverse audiences, creating an electric atmosphere that has made it a constant sell-out.
