Asha Banks Stopped off in the music capital of the UK during her extensive European tour to share a collection of her finest tunes to date.
For Asha fans this was a chance to get really up close and personal as she chose an intimate venue for her most loyal fans to feel the warmth and happiness of a hand curated set.
Having known Asha Banks for her acting skills prior to my finding her music, it’s exciting to see that the warmth, energy and confidence are so readily transferable to the stage.
From her entrance, carrying a plant through the crowd to stage and the huge welcoming smile through all her numbers there was a natural, unforced and warm connection with everyone that had braved the renowned Manchester rain.
There were signs/cards and even bunches of flowers brought by the loving fans in order to garner a moment of magic and recognition from Asha.
The evening waltzed along with a selection of high paced, Asha spinning and dancing numbers to lesser tempo acoustic tunes. All received with wonderment and delight right to the back of the room!
Throughout the evening as Asha performed her trademark swirling dance around the stage this drew admiration and approving gasps all around me.
Safe to say this leg of the tour was absolutely a success and one that I’m sure Asha will remember fondly in the future.
