FREDDIE HALKON RETURNS HOME FOR HUGE SHOW AT DONCASTER DOME!!
Bursting onto the scene just under two years ago, Freddie Halkon has quickly cemented himself as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists. Blending classic indie energy with sharp pop sensibilities, his rapid rise has been fuelled by relatable songwriting and an undeniable stage presence.
2026 has already been a whirlwind, heading into the new year with a debut EP that had just secured an official No.1 on the Official Charts Breakers Chart — an incredible milestone for a young indie artist. ‘Shoulders of the World’ feels unmistakably Freddie: full of heart and energy, with each track painting a vivid picture of the people and experiences that have shaped him.
February saw Freddie hit the road on a UK tour that sold out within hours. Night after night, crowds brought an unrivalled energy. Loud, passionate chants of “Walking in a Halkon Wonderland” and “there’s only one Freddie Halkon” echoed through venues, proving time and again that this lad and his guitar are truly something special. When they’re not singing his lyrics with him, they’re singing songs about him!
That momentum now carries into festival season, with main stage appearances at the likes of NBHD Weekender, Tramlines, Y Not and Kendal Calling on the schedule, among other bookings. If last year’s chaos was anything to go by, Freddie will set festival crowds alight in the fields of the UK this summer.
Autumn marks Freddie’s biggest moment to date. The Doncaster-born artist will headline Doncaster Dome for his first-ever hometown show. 3,350 fans will descend on the iconic venue for what promises to be a landmark night for both Freddie and his city.
Reflecting on the show, Freddie says:
“The thought of performing to over 3000 people in my hometown just feels absolutely
surreal!! From going ice skating at Donny Dome as a kid, to now playing the venue, is
honestly mind blowing and such a full circle moment! I’m just a local lad with a guitar and a dream. Being on that stage will be as special as it gets. I know I’ll remember it forever!! Bring it on!!”
From small shows to sold-out tours and chart-topping releases, playing the venue that shaped his childhood now as a headline artist highlights just how far Freddie Halkon has come. Come November, we’ll all be walking in a Halkon Wonderland.
Tickets for Doncaster Dome go on general sale Friday 27 February at 10am. Fans can access pre-sale from Wednesday 25 February by signing up to Freddie’s mailing list on his website.
