EXCLUSIVE UK SHOWS IN LONDON & MANCHESTER IN OCTOBER

DATES AT O2 SHEPHERD’S BUSH EMPIRE & O2 RITZ MANCHESTER

German pop icon Nena will play her first UK shows in 15 years this October, with exclusive dates at London’s iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and O2 Ritz Manchester.

Rising to international fame in 1983 with the Neue Deutsche Welle song ‘99 Luftballons’ and its English version ’99 Red Balloons’, Nena has since enjoyed a thriving solo career, selling over 25 million records and making her the most successful German pop singer in chart history.

Renowned for her energetic stage presence and distinctive and captivating voice, audiences can look forward to a live show featuring hits and gems from Nena's vast repertoire, with music spanning over four decades brought to life by her 10-piece band.

Each live concert is a unique and emotional experience. The tour title, WIR GEHÖREN ZUSAMMEN (We Belong Together), represents more than just a motto; it embodies the deeply felt and lived sense of connection that makes each concert a heartfelt affair for Nena.

“It’s a wave of love that builds and grows stronger,” says Nena. “I feel this with a new powerful intensity. It comes from us, the people who are here, in front of, behind, and on stage. People who love to spend a wonderful time together. Those who know that music builds bridges. We sing, dance, laugh, and celebrate life. 'We belong together' is a simple message that we carry out into the world together.”

The current album, Licht, is an energetic pop album full of brilliance and the soundtrack for new beginnings. With every note and in every line, Licht offers hope, lightness, and depth of heart. Whether it’s folk-inspired acoustic guitar or electronically dancing synthesizer beats, Licht inspires us to celebrate life.

Nena returns to the UK for two shows at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on October 11th and O2 Ritz Manchester on October 12th. Tickets are on sale now and available from ticketmaster.co.uk.
