BELLA BARBE
ANNOUNCES DEBUT HEADLINE SHOW
THE WAITING ROOM LONDON
DECEMBER 2025
London’s rising star Bella Barbe has announced her debut hometown show at London’s The Waiting Room on Monday 8th December 2025. Tickets will be available from Friday 7th November at 10am via bio.to/BellaB.
Bella grew up between Enfield and Barnet. Her mum’s a working-class Southgate girl, her dad’s an underground UK MC. It might sound chaotic, but for Bella it was just life. That split upbringing gave her a unique ear — raised on a mix of Led Zeppelin, Prince, Portishead, Wu-Tang Clan, London Grammar and Grace Jones. People noticed her tone early. At sixteen, she blagged her way onto a jazz club stage, and when the organisers found out she was underage, they sent her straight to the National Youth Jazz Orchestra in Woolwich — where the spark became a plan.
Her debut single “Lonely Soldier” introduced a writer with emotional bite and a voice that stops you mid-scroll. The follow-up, “Ten Toes Down,” reinforced her honesty and command, before “Go To Dinner” showcased her growing sophistication and ear for melody. Then came “Into the Night” — a haunting, cinematic record that marked her first production credit alongside Jonny Coffer, setting her apart as an artist who’s both behind and in front of the music.
BBC Introducing’s Jess Iszatt described her as “an artist walking in the footsteps of Sienna Spiro, Skye Newman, and even the greats like Adele, Billie Eilish, and Amy Winehouse.” It’s a comparison that feels fitting — not because Bella imitates, but because she channels the same depth and control that greats are built on.
Since then, she’s galvanised nearly 20,000 followers on Instagram and continues to grow organically, with a star-studded following that includes figures like Natalie Imbruglia and others quietly showing support.
Now at 18, Bella Barbe stands as one of North London’s most exciting emerging voices — a singer, songwriter, and producer developing genuine critical acclaim. Her debut mixtape Bird of Prey (out 5 December 2025) is a soulful, alternative body of work exploring resilience, self-discovery, and identity — a first real statement from an artist doing it her way.
