The shows debuted with ‘To Be Free: New York’ in Brooklyn's historic Warsaw, October 2025, spanning 24-nights, before continuing to San Francisco, where Sam became one of the first artists to perform on the newly restored stage of the iconic Castro Theatre. Each intimate show blended fan favourites with previously unreleased tracks from their upcoming new album, alongside surprise appearances from Hozier, Ed Sheeran, Brandi Carlile, SIENNA SPIRO and Kim Petras. Among the new material showcased were current single My Guy, a tender and deeply personal love song co-written with Feist, who also features on the album 's seductive ‘Moondance’ and the country-infused Constant Companion, exploring the complexities of enduring love.
To celebrate the recent release of ‘My Guy’ and announcement of ‘Hazel Eyes’ Sam has showcased a series of performances, including the global debut of ‘My Guy’ at the inaugural MAJ Awards in Japan (watch here) and a stunning UK first on BBC2’s Later With Jools Holland. Last weekend, in a spectacular kickoff to NYC Pride, Sam delivered a moving, intimate performance at The Booking.com Theater at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC). The first LGBTQ+ visitor center within the National Park Service, the SNMVC honors the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and serves as a vital physical sanctuary dedicated to protecting and preserving LGBTQ+ history. The performance brought together Sam's generation-defining voice with one of the movement's most revered landmarks, celebrating the enduring legacy of queer history, community, and resilience.
Sam Smith is one of the most celebrated musical artists to emerge in recent history. A five-time GRAMMY® winner, Sam holds two Guinness World Records – for the most consecutive weeks in the U.K. Top 10 Album Chart (for their 2014 debut, In The Lonely Hour) and for having the first James Bond theme to reach No.1 on the U.K. charts (for the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning “Writing’s on the Wall”). Sam has amassed over 64 million adjusted album sales, 392 million singles and over 57 billion career streams across their catalog of critically acclaimed albums In the Lonely Hour, The Thrill of It All, Love Goes and GLORIA, which Rolling Stone praised as “their deepest album yet” and includes the global smash single, “Unholy,” Ft.
