Labyrinth Events, one of the UK's leading
independent promoters, is thrilled to announce the exclusive return of Tofte Manor’s boutique summer series for 2025, proudly taking globally renowned names to an idyllic venue unlike any other.
UK dance titans Sasha and John Digweed, celebrated for their transcendent DJ sets and masterful mixing, will bring their hypnotic progressive house set to Tofte Manor’s beautiful 17th century manor house on 12th July 2025 for an exclusive 5-hour set. Gates open at midday through to 10pm. This is one of only three dates at the venue this summer.
Following sell-out shows at the iconic Hackney Church and Camden Roundhouse, Sasha and John Digweed have become synonymous with unforgettable performances in unconventional venues. Captivating audiences with rare and expertly curated tracks in one of their only b2b sets in the UK this summer, fans will also have the opportunity to walk the venue’s sacred labyrinth which mirrors the design pattern of the ancient labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral, France, a symbol of peace and inspiration, adding a spiritual touch to every ticket holder’s sonic journey.
Having hosted Fatboy Slim Loves, Jungle Curates, Innervisions’ roaming Lost In A
Moment party and the worldwide debut of Fred again…, Tofte Manor has established itself as a treasured intimate hedonistic gathering for music fans from afar and one of the UK’s most exciting new electronic music festivals. Over 18s only.
“Tofte Manor is the perfect setting for what we want to create with our music - a place where time seems to stand still, and you can just lose yourself in the moment,” Sasha said. Digweed added, “There’s something magical about performing in these kinds of spaces. It brings out something special in the music, and we can’t wait to share that with everyone.” Having risen to prominence in the 90s with their landmark mixtape Renaissance: The Mix Collection, Sasha and Digweed have shaped the evolution of trance and progressive house. Their Northern Exposure series solidified their status, with Northern Exposure: Expeditions named one of Rolling Stone’s top 30 EDM albums of all time. Together they are a force of nature – often hailed as two of underground electronic music’s most beloved and enduring figures.
Labyrinth Events co-founders Nick Castleman and Michael Dicks expressed their excitement: “July 12th will be one of a handful of b2b shows Sasha & John do in the UK summer and Labyrinth will be putting everything into fan experience. Booking Sasha & John Digweed was always a career dream of ours. My elder brother used to go and see them at The End and I used to hear legendary stories of their long sets in the 90's. They had not played b2b in London for years and it took something really special to get them back, which after a lot of back and forth with the clergy,
ended up being a stunning 750-year-old church in East London. We then followed up with the iconic Camden Roundhouse this year, which was a wonderful gig with John being there and out of hospital.
Both shows sold out in the pre-sale and it got us dreaming about what could be next… which led us to Tofte Manor. We were delighted with how summer 2024 at the venue went and we've seen that Sasha & John's audience appreciate beautiful spaces and an earlier finish. So here we are announcing what' s going to be one of the most exciting dates we've hosted at the venue yet.”
Unapologetically disrupting the live electronic scene, Labyrinth Events are paving the way for an exciting and one-of-a-kind new breed of must-attend live music experiences.
