UK PRE-SALE: FEB 4 @ 10AM | GENERAL SALE: FEB 6 @ 10AM

Yorkshire alt-pop duo Seafret have announced a major UK and European headline tour for May and June 2026, to celebrate over 10 years together as a band, the tenth anniversary of their debut LP ‘Tell Me It’s Real and in support of their hotly anticipated fourth studio album ‘Fear of Emotion’, out March 27th via Nettwerk. The tour will be an amalgam of fan favourites with a particular focus on tracks from their debut record including their viral hit “Atlantis” which has clocked up over a billion streams worldwide and new songs from their upcoming LP.

Spanning sixteen shows across the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, the run includes stops at London’s Islington Assembly Hall, Glasgow’s Oran Mor, Paris’ Machine du Moulin Rouge, and Berlin’s Lido, bringing Seafret’s emotionally charged live show to fans across the continent.

Written and recorded across 2025, and produced by long-time collaborators Steve Robson and Sam Miller, the new album ‘Fear Of Emotion’ finds Jack Sedman and Harry Draper reconnecting with their roots while pushing the limits of their sound.

“The songs on ‘Fear of Emotion’ grew out of everything we’ve lived through these past few years — the bright, beautiful moments and the shadows that came with them,” the pair reflect. “We didn’t want a single track that didn’t feel honest or rooted in something real, and we think we’ve captured that. Making this record has been a joy from start to finish. The collaborations have added a magic we couldn’t have created alone.”

A decade on from their breakthrough, Seafret return with their most expansive and emotionally resonant album yet. Across its twelve tracks, the Yorkshire duo of Jack Sedman and Harry Draper channel the intensity of a transformative few years into songs that are as vulnerable as they are powerful. Where 2023’s ‘Wonderland’ was marked by distance and separation, ‘Fear of Emotion’ is rooted in connection and threaded with the joy of creative freedom.

From the brooding intensity of opener “River of Tears”, with its stormy textures and weighty emotional charge, to the stripped-back beauty of “Desert Heat”, the album journeys through moments of loss, longing and reconciliation. While “Wait” reflects on the ache of distance and the yearning for home. Collaboration plays a key role throughout, with KT Tunstall lending her voice to the poignant “Five More Seconds”, James Morrison joining on the stunning “end of the world” ballad “Driftwood”, and rising star Katie Gregson-MacLeod illuminating the intimate “Nobody Sees Us.”

The result is a record that feels both lived-in and newly alive, delivering a full-circle moment for a band rediscovering their purpose and potential. ‘Fear of Emotion’ is richly arranged, emotionally fearless, and reflective of two artists embracing the full spectrum of what they can be.
