Somerset House Summer Series with American Express starts this Thursday (10 July) as the iconic venue celebrates it's 25th birthday. If you haven’t applied for media accreditation yet, there’s still time – but space is limited, and things are filling up fast.

Hosted in the spectacular enclosed surroundings of Somerset House's open-air courtyard, headliners Rizzle Kicks, Freya Ridings, Jacob Banks, Parov Stelar, Joy Oladokun, St. Vincent, The Snuts, The Paper Kites, FLO, Giggs and their rising-star supports will take to the stage, making for a series of unforgettable, bespoke performances.

In addition to the musical headline performances, Somerset House will host the world premiere of Akinola Davies Jr.'s new film rituals:union black, complete with a live score specially commissioned by Somerset House and performed by an impressive cast of musical trailblazers featuring the drums of Balimaya Project, Kwake Bass, Dennis Bovell, Moses Boyd, Charlie Dark, Klein, Sampha + more.
