Alternative rock band Bayaan announce an exciting UK headline tour for September 2025. This tour includes Birmingham’s O2 Institute2 on Friday 12 September and London’s Lower Third on Saturday 13 September. Tickets are available from Wednesday 30 April at 10am via https://gigst.rs/Bayaan.
From Lahore, Pakistan, the five-piece are known for their evocative sound and heartfelt lyrics. Formed in 2014, the band comprises Asfar Hussain (vocals), Haider Abbas (bass), Shahrukh Aslam (guitar), Muqueet Shahzad (guitar), and Mansoor Lashari (drums). The members share a deep-rooted friendship.
While their personal musical journeys began in the underground scene before gaining national recognition, the members of what would become Bayaan found each other and first gained prominence through Nescafé Basement, where they showcased their unique style. In 2018, they became the winners of Pepsi Battle of the Bands Third Edition, solidifying their place in Pakistan's music industry.
Bayaan's debut album, Suno, was released in 2020 and features nine tracks that encapsulate the Bayaan sound - introspective, atmospheric and intense both musically and lyrically. Listen to Suno here.
In December 2024, Bayaan celebrated their 10th anniversary with the release of their sophomore album, Safar. Featuring collaborations with artists like Hasan Raheem, Rovalio, Sanah Moidutty, Sherazam and Vaibhav Pani, an exciting new chapter has began for Bayaan as they simultaneously double down on what makes them who they are without ever shutting the door on new sights and sounds.
Bayaan's music has also been featured in television and cinema. Lead vocalist Asfar Hussain was featured in Coke Studio, penning the slow burn electronic ballad Mehram and singing it alongside Grammy award winner Arooj Aftab.
With a decade of musical evolution, Bayaan continues to captivate audiences with their authentic sound and storytelling.
