New Album Indigo Park Arrives April 3, Featuring Blake Mills, Bob Weir, Bonnie Raitt, Chris Dave, Ezra Koenig, Pino Palladino & Robert Hunter

More Than Two Dozen Additional 2026 Tour Dates Announced For Summer & Fall, Accompanied by Longtime Band The Noisemakers

Singer, pianist, composer, bandleader and three-time GRAMMY®-winner Bruce Hornsby has released “Ecstatic,” the second single from his forthcoming album, Indigo Park, arriving April 3rd on Zappo Productions/Thirty Tigers. Inspired by a spirited chant he heard for many years as an AAU basketball parent, “Ecstatic” features notable backing vocals from Bonnie Raitt, with whom Hornsby first collaborated on Raitt’s 1991 hit, “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”

Backed by his longtime band the Noisemakers, “Ecstatic” sees Hornsby interrogating the physiological sensations that often accompany a “peak” experience - the act of climbing a mountain, cresting a wave, or the euphoria of playing a gig that achieves transcendence. With Raitt’s unmistakable harmonies pushing him forward, an inspired Hornsby vows not to take these experiences for granted, declaring: “there’s mystery everywhere and you never know what’ll smack you in the face.” For an artist with a lauded discography containing a multitude of enduring hits and commercial successes, the vulnerable self-analysis of “Ecstatic” defies convention and reflects the broader themes of Indigo Park’s 10 songs, most notably an oscillation between emotional extremes - light and dark, memory and fantasy, calm and rage, doubt and certainty.

A longtime basketball player and a passionate follower of the game, Hornsby recruited members of the LSU Lady Tigers basketball team to appear in the “Ecstatic” music video, filmed on-campus at Louisiana State University. The ties to the court run deep, as Hornsby’s son Keith is a former LSU shooting guard, and now serves as a graduate assistant for the LSU Tigers men’s team.

Composed as he turned 70 in 2024, Indigo Park finds Hornsby singing more in the first-person than he ever has. He contemplates formative moments from his past, sometimes trying to resolve them, and other times looking for clues about his current-day outlook. Ever-expanding his stylistic toolbox, he has long traveled far beyond the confines of pop and into the worlds of rock, bluegrass, jazz, classical, electronic and more, but Indigo Park captures one of music's most adventurous, collaborative and accomplished artists at the top of his game.

In addition to Indigo Park – produced by Tony Berg, Will Maclellan and Bruce Hornsby, and featuring collaborations with Blake Mills, Bob Weir, Bonnie Raitt, Chris Dave, Ezra Koenig, Pino Palladino and Robert Hunter – 2026 brings the 40th anniversary of The Way It Is, both the album and its #1 single. Since its release, Bruce Hornsby has played Saturday Night Live, composed numerous scores and songs for close collaborator Spike Lee (Kobe Doin' Work, Netflix's She's Gotta Have It, BlacKkKlansman and many more), contributed to the soundtrack for Ken Burns' Baseball, toured for years as a member of the Grateful Dead, made two records with Ricky Skaggs and an album with Christian McBride and Jack DeJohnette (Camp Meeting), while co-writing and recording with Bon Iver, and working with everyone from Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Chaka Khan, Elton John, Jerry Garcia, Mavis Staples, Ornette Coleman, Robbie Robertson, Stevie Nicks, Sting, Wayne Shorter and Willie Nelson to Brandon Flowers, Danielle Haim, Goose, Jamila Woods and yMusic.

Alongside The Noisemakers, Bruce Hornsby will perform music from Indigo Park and his past four decades on a headline tour across the US this spring and summer. Today, Hornsby has announced a second leg of summer/fall performances that bring the tour to nearly fifty dates in total. Pre-sale begins March 5 at 10am local, with all tickets onsale March 6 at 10am local. Find the list of dates below, and tickets at brucehornsby.com/#tour.
