Landing in the UK on the back of their ambitious, introspective and anthemic debut album, 200K, Australia’s newest, melodic, indie rock and roll juggernaut, BIIG Time, formed of siblings, DMA’S Johnny Took and brother, PLANET’S Matty, release their newest single, Gets Better With You. Released just last week, their long-rumoured 11-track collection of collaborative tracks becomes the beating heart of an all-new set list as the duo arrive for a run of nine, nationwide tour dates.
Fans have the chance to get even closer to BIIG Time this month as they add three, special and intimate, additional record store shows plus an exclusive meet-and-greet in Southsea on Thu 22 May 2025.
Reconfirming their existence and holding up their first, brilliant single to the light, BIIG Time released only their second single in five years, Bigger Than Nothing, at the end of March to set the clock ticking towards 200K’s release and their opening run of shows. Released with a video of collaged home videos, the pair reflected openly on their deep friendship and natural next step to become long-standing musical collaborators.
Letting fans into their world once more, the video for Gets Better With You follows the brothers back to Southern Australia in a homespun performance purposely shot to welcome fans into their close, knockabout relationship, with cameos from the pair’s canine companions.
“‘The video for ‘Gets Better With You’ was filmed in beautiful, rural Victoria on a weekend away with our pets Seven and Omelette!” reveals the pair. “It’s a brief glimpse into our lives back in Australia. This is one of our favourite songs to play live and we can’t wait to perform it in the UK this month.”
Gets Better With You’s fuzzed-at-the-edges, ascending, chorus-focused alt-rock comes through on the pair’s promise that what lay in wait for listeners on 200K was a ‘collection of gems’. True to their word, 200K has landed on existing fans of DMA’S and PLANET, as well as completely new listeners’ playlists and turntables as a warm and rewarding journey into the pair’s firmly established collaborative drive and ambitions.
With both Johnny and Matty enjoying extensive past tours of the UK, and with recent, high-profile live warm-ups on the Australian dates of Courteeners and Jamie Webster also under their belts, they are brought back to perform together on the following confirmed BIIG Time 200K UK Tour Dates and meet-and-greet appearances:

The release of 200K comes a year after Johnny enjoyed the most recent run of long-distance flights and late nights associated with the release of DMA’S Official UK Album Chart Top 3 album, How Many Dreams? while Matthew’s PLANET’s band, was catapulted into indie and alt-rock listeners’’ consciousness by the release of their 2022 debut album, Information Overload.
