Off the back of whirlwind success from his latest album Capital Fiction, breakout Australian chart topper Keli Holiday – the solo project of Adam Hyde – announces his first ever headline UK, IE and EU tour in celebration of the new record. Holiday shared the news yesterday via an animated video on Instagram, which was met with a wave of buzz from fans. The announcement closely follows Friday’s release of a brand new video for the album focus single, ‘More’. Full tour dates below - purchase tickets here.
On ‘More’, Holiday states: “‘More’ is about that carnal yearning for more; when you are in the throes of intimacy with someone you want to envelope entirely. Like a dog in heat. All is not enough. More is not enough, but it’s the only word we got.”
As anyone who has experienced a Keli Holiday live show will attest, a heaving, sweat-soaked room is where the Keli Holiday experience really comes alive. “The live show is where I really get my kicks as far as bringing the songs to life. I think people finding my music on the internet is cool, but there’s no better feeling than giving it to them face to face, sweat to sweat, cheek to cheek. It’s called a show for a reason. After blowing up on TikTok, ‘Dancing2’ from the latest album took on a life of its own, with millions of fans connecting with its message of love, connection and positivity. The track went on to reach #1 on the TikTok Viral Chart with over half a billion views, plus #1 on the Spotify Viral Chart in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, #2 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100, #1 spot on the ARIA Australian Singles Chart, and #2 on the Spotify Viral Chart in the UK.
