After completing their world tour supporting YUNGBLUD, Palaye Royale have made their return to the uk to complete their final death or glory tour. Exactly 1 year after their Wembley show, the boys are back in town and are in Birmingham at the 02 Academy with The Molotovs and The Hunna supporting them.
The Molotovs
This is my first time hearing and seeing them live and I am in love! With a mixture of 60’s rock and roll with punk, Formed of 2 siblings, Mathew Cartlidge and Issey Cartlidge along with drummer Will. The energy from this show was incredible and was an absolute pleasure to watch.
I had no idea what to expect from them but I loved their performance and the energy they gave on stage especially with their opening song. Its so refreshing to see smaller bands having a fantastic time and giving it their all. Issey in particular put a huge smile on my face. The confidence the outfit the bass the sass I loved it! They have their debut album ‘Wasted on Youth’ coming out January 30 2026 so be sure to pre save !

The Hunna
Its a pleasure to see them open for Palaye once again. The Hunna are a perfect mix of pop and rock, lots of energy and just overall a great vibe that the audience loved, singing back the lyrics and dancing. The only thing I would have liked to see more of it more Interaction with the audience! I think thats would have improved the night greatly. They put on a fantastic performance and I’m very excited to see what they have to bring next!

Palaye Royale
Its time for the main act of the night Palaye Royale . This isn’t my first and won’t be my last palaye gig I’ve been to. As a long time fan it’s a dream come true to finally photograph them. I have been to 3/6 shows on this tour both as a fan and as a photographer and I will never be bored or disappointed by a palaye show.
This show in particular was a very special one as this show marked the end of the Death Or Glory Era for Palaye. Its a very special feeling to witness just how far they have come and I am incredibly proud of them. From playing shows in parks to almost selling out Wembley OVO just incredible.
Every show is unique in its own way snd that is one thing I love about them. The crowd the fans the music the atmosphere everything is perfect. Nothing but pure love happiness and smiles. Soldiers of the royal council are truly the best fan base that are so supportive.
The way Sebastian and Remington in particular engage with the audience is one of my favourite things in the world. The smiles the joy the excitement is everything. There will never be a dull moment with Remington and Sebastian running across the stage and pit keeping security on their feet.
It’s also lovely to see that Emerson is slowly making his return to the stage after taking a break from touring due to his mental health. I am so excited to see what they have to bring for us next with a new single being released ‘Feel Something, Great’ very soon.
