To mark the 20th anniversary of their debut ‘Costello Music’, The Fratellis will tour the UK in February 2026. The band have now added four new dates to the celebratory tour in Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle and Glasgow, as well as announcing special guests The Gulps.

In the autumn of 2006, Scottish indie-rockers The Fratellis burst onto the scene with their blistering debut album, ‘Costello Music’. Filled to the brim with catchy riffs and brash vocals, the record featured some of the band’s most enduring tracks, including the cheeky “Henrietta”, the slightly softer “Whistle for the Choir”, and the truly iconic “Chelsea Dagger”.

Now, almost two decades on, The Fratellis have announced their plans to take ‘Costello Music’ back out on the road. After a run of festival slots this summer, including a performance on the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury, the band will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their debut record with an extensive UK tour taking place next February.

“We’re genuinely excited to celebrate ‘Costello Music’’s 20th birthday next year,” shares frontman Jon Fratelli, “Doing our thing is as exciting today as it was twenty odd years ago when we played our first gig at O’Henry’s in Glasgow. So whether you loved ‘Costello Music’ when it arrived in 2006 (!!!) or ‘In Your Own Sweet Time’ a year or three down the line, we’re super excited to play some rock ‘n’ roll for you again.”

After kicking things off at Nottingham’s Rock City on 5th February 2026, The Fratellis will bring the infectious choruses of ‘Costello Music’ to a number of historic venues across the country, including Manchester Albert Hall, the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo and Liverpool Olympia. The tour was originally set conclude at NX in Newcastle on 20th February, but the band have now added four new dates.

After selling out their first date at the venue, The Fratellis will return to the Albert Hall in Manchester on the 21st Feb, as well as NX In Newcastle on the 24th. They have also announced a new date at Prospect Building in Bristol, as well as a hometown show at the O2 Academy in Glasgow to conclude the tour.

“So come dance yourselves silly to ‘Dagger’, ‘Henrietta’, ‘Whistle’ and ‘Creepin’... we promise you’ll leave with the goofiest of smiles on your face! Mon The Fratellis” adds Fratelli.

The full list of dates can be found below.

New dates on general on-sale Friday 18th July at 10am.

Since introducing themselves with ‘Costello Music’ in the late 2000s, The Fratellis have continually reasserted themselves as a staple act in British guitar music, winning over new generations of fans who have bolstered their live presence. The band now have six full-length studio records to their name, with the latest, ‘Drunk Under a Full Moon’, arriving in 2021.

Pairing the stomping singalongs for which The Fratellis first found fame with lush songs steeped in brass and strings, the record was a treasure trove of excess, earning the band a top-three chart position in their home country as well as praise from the likes of Gigwise and Riff Magazine. A deluxe version of the record arrived in 2022, featuring eight unheard tracks.

Now, The Fratellis are looking a little further back in their career, celebrating the album that kickstarted it all as they prepare to take ‘Costello Music’ back out on the road.
