Welcome to LIDO: London’s Eco-Conscious New Festival
A fresh wave is sweeping through London’s festival scene this June — say hello to LIDO Festival, the first-ever multi-weekender in Victoria Park’s historic Lido Field
. Running across two weekends (June 6–7 & 13–15), LIDO combines big-name headliners, boutique events, and sustainability credentials that your average festival can only dream of.
🌱 Setting a Green Standard
Powered by a 1 MW battery system charged with renewable energy, LIDO’s opening day is totally free of diesel emissions — the UK and AEG’s greenest festival yet
The battery grid slashes generator use by around 50%, cutting CO₂ emissions by nearly 48 tonnes compared to traditional gig setups
On top of that, day one features an exclusively meat-free menu, combining vibe with conscience
