Tramlines 2026 Expands Line-Up with Major Comedy Names and New Additions Across the Bill

Tramlines Festival has announced a major wave of new additions for 2026, including its full comedy line-up alongside a host of new artists and local talent set to perform at Hillsborough Park from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July. These additions add to an already stacked line-up including Fatboy Slim, Courteeners, Wolf Alice, Kaiser Chiefs, Blossoms and Wetleg.

Leading the comedy programme is Dom Joly, bringing the Trigger Happy TV: 25th anniversary show, alongside festival favourite Ross Noble and acclaimed stand-up Reginald D Hunter. They are joined across the weekend by Emmanuel Sonubi, Hayley Ellis, Tom Wrigglesworth, Danny McLoughlin, Tom Ward, Louise Young and Matt Reed, forming one of the festival’s strongest comedy offerings to date.

Alongside the comedy announcement, Tramlines has confirmed a wide range of new artists across its stages, adding further depth to an already packed 2026 line-up. These include emerging acts, returning Sheffield favourites and a broad mix of genres that reflect the festival’s ongoing commitment to new music and grassroots talent.

The announcement also brings a fresh spotlight on Tramlines’ curated stages and partnerships. Pattern + Push return with a full Saturday takeover made up entirely of female artists from Sheffield, marking a significant moment for representation on the bill. They will also take over slots on Friday’s T’Other Stage billing, with Sheffield’s genre-defier and regular Mungo’s HiFi collaborator, Aziza Jaye taking the festival’s second stage by storm. Across the weekend, stages hosted by Slambarz and Live From The Library continue to provide a platform for new voices, local performers and alternative programming, sitting alongside major headline sets.

Timm Cleasby, Operations Director at Tramlines, said: “Local artists have always been at the heart of Tramlines. Every year we see people take that first step on one of our stages and go on to build something bigger, and that’s what the festival is all about. The Pattern + Push line-up this year is something we’re really proud of. It’s all female and all Sheffield, and while there’s still more to do, it feels like a proper step forward and something we want to keep building on. At the same time, the comedy line-up this year is one of our strongest yet, with some big names coming in, which adds another element to the weekend.”

Tramlines Festival 2026 will be headlined by Fatboy Slim, Courteeners and Wolf Alice, with performances across five stages from Kaiser Chiefs, Blossoms, Wet Leg, The Vaccines, Reverend and The Makers and many more.

-Tramlines is one of the UK’s largest and longest-running inner city greenfield music festivals, held annually in Hillsborough Park, Sheffield. Known for its mix of major headliners, local talent and community programming, Tramlines has become a defining fixture in the UK’s summer calendar.

The 2024 edition (26–28 July) featured headline performances from Paolo Nutini, Jamie T and Snow Patrol, and continued its track record of platforming Sheffield voices, with artists like Otis Mensah, Coco, and Everly Pregnant Brothers on the bill. The festival also introduced expanded family areas, comedy programming, and accessibility schemes supported by Tickets for Good.

The 2025 edition (25–27 July) marked a landmark year with Pulp’s first Tramlines performance and stage curation, plus powerful sets from The Reytons, Kasabian, Sigrid, Rizzle Kicks and many others. More than 120 artists played across five stages, alongside grassroots showcases from Pattern + Push, Slambarz, and The Leadmill. 2025 also saw the festival raise funds for local causes via The Tramlines Trust, with over £120,000 donated since 2022.

Now heading into its 17th year, Tramlines continues to blend big festival energy with a strong Sheffield identity, championing new music, supporting creative development, and celebrating culture in all its forms.
